THE PETA JANE STORY
I’m Peta Murgatroyd, and you might know me from Dancing with the Stars. This is the story of how I went from DWTS Pro to beauty founder. Its 2014, and my weekly pre-show self-tanning is driving me crazy. Slathering on tanner that smelled horrible and made me orange was never part of my dream dance routine... especially in 4k.
There’s no heart-wrenching story here. No lifelong quest. I just needed a good tan that...
1. Wasn't orange or green.
2. Didn't smell awful.
3. Wasn't sticky.
4. Faded naturally.
So what did I do? In 2015 I teamed up with a self-tanning expert and a lab with over 40 years of experience, and we got to work. Together, we spent 8 years perfecting our formula to create (what I think are) the best self-tanners that could take you from everyday wear to life events... or even the big stage!
